Easily fix worn-out heels with our shoe heel replacements. Made from strong rubber, these DIY repair pads offer slip resistance, comfort, and long-lasting durability. Ideal for restoring shoes, boots, and dress shoes, they’re simple to attach and keep your footwear looking and feeling new.
📝 Step-by-Step Guide:
-
Remove the old heel
-
Pull or cut away the worn heel.
-
Clean off any old glue, nails, or debris.
-
-
Prepare the surfaces
-
Sand the bottom of the shoe heel and the back of the new heel pad.
-
Wipe away dust with a rag.
This roughens the surface for stronger grip.
-
-
Apply adhesive
-
Spread an even layer of A1 glue on both surfaces.
-
Wait a few minutes until glue is tacky (check glue instructions).
-
-
Position the new heel
-
Carefully align the new heel pad with the shoe heel base.
-
Press it on firmly.
-
-
Nail it down
-
Hammer 3–5 small nails/tacks through the heel pad into the shoe heel.
-
Space them evenly (one in the center, others around the edges).
-
Hammer gently to avoid splitting or damaging the shoe.
-
-
Clamp & cure
-
Place a heavy object on the heel or use a clamp.
-
Let it cure for 12–24 hours before wearing.
-
-
Final check
-
Trim any excess glue and check nails are flush.
-
Your shoe heel is now sturdy, secure, and ready to wear.
